About Miramar, Florida
Miramar is the second largest city in Broward County. Miramar is
14 miles in length east to west and 2.5 miles in width. It spans
most of the southern border of the county. Miramar is ideally
located for both commerce and recreation it is minutes away from
downtown Miami and Ft. Lauderdale, which also have some of the
most beautiful beaches in the world. There is also easy access
to Interstates 75, 1-95, and the Florida Turnpike, which are
major arteries to all of Florida and the rest of the country.
And within 30 minutes of Miami International Airport and Ft.
Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, Port Everglades, and
the Port of Miami.
East side of Miramar is much
busier, lower priced homes, non-gated communities, and many
shopping centers and offices. The west side is comprised
of mainly newer homes, many built since year 2003. This side is very suburban,
comprised of gated communities, no malls, great schools, and
higher level of demographic.
