Home Market
Value
What is home market value, and what does it mean to you?
While you may think of
'home market value' as a valuation of a certain home, a more precise definition
of home market value is the amount you can sell the home for NOW at the current
market conditions.
Here's an example:
If you had to sell your home immediately, almost everyone in the world would be
interested if the price is right. After all, who'd turn down purchasing a
home for 1 cent. As the price rises however, the number of willing buyers
begin to dwindle. When you reach the intersect point between price, and
the most a buyer is willing to pay in the current market.... you've found the
home market value.
Most people don't need the absolute current market value of their home. Most
are looking for a general valuation in order to obtain a home equity loan, line of
credit, or a price at which to list their home under normal marketing
conditions. You may request a free home value by visiting our
